Our featured Artist is Orna Ben-Shoshan’s “72 Names” deck. It’s been said that having an Orna Ben-Shoshan painting on your wall is like having a window to another dimension. Orna’s artwork involves opening her consciousness and channelling images that come to her from a different realm of existence. Her Major motivation as a visual artist is to share her visions with others to expand their consciousness and inspire new ways of thinking. Orna’s life-long interest in metaphysics and mysticism has led her to study the Kabala and alternative philosophies. Her work infuses deep spiritual experience with subtle humor. Critics remark that each one of her images is a world onto itself. Her images are executed with intractable detail and seasoned by a multitude of colors and decorative Patterns. This “72 Names” deck offered below gives you not 1, but 72 designs channeled by Orna and uniquely combines them with Kabalistic divination. Be sure to click the “more info” button above to see an exciting array of Orna’s work. KARMA PEACE by Connie Van Cleve
Our featured author is Connie Van Cleve, who brings to her creations a passion for life and for travel. Connie has spent six months in India and has visited twenty-four other countries as well. As a hobby, she studies world religions and cultures, with particular focus on Hinduism and Buddhism. She displays a keen interest in our society's growing quest for spirituality, with a strong desire of her own to be a contributor. Connie has also had a life time of experience with mental illness within her family, which has given her much insight from both the afflicted and the healer's perspective. Connie describes her new book, Karma Peace, as "a fictionalized autobiography of sorts". She courageously uses her creativity and life experiences to craft an allegorical tale of the Human Condition as it relates to the female mid-life crisis, an under told story in our society. Karma Peace includes a lot of metaphysical and paranormal occurences, as well as psychological scenarios. It is Connie's hope that the spiritual lessons found in her book might inspire the reader to seek out their own "true selves". You can read an exerpt from the book and purchase your copy on her website: www.karmapeace.net |
